TRIO VIDEO FAX CHECK – Fall 2005

Welcome back to Trio Video's "Fax Check". Our priority will always be to keep these brief and respect the importance of your time. After a spring and summer of extensive work from coast to coast, here’s a sample of what’s kept us busy back in the Windy City since the end of the summer.

GETTING THE WORD OUT FOR FARM AID 2005
Trio Video provided the high definition mobile television facilities, as performers at Farm Aid 2005 urged the sold-out crowd to support farm families devastated by Hurricane Katrina and to continue the fight for family farmers. Trio’s state-of-the-art mobile unit, Tango, provided the HD broadcast equipment and engineering support, including over 12 high definition cameras, as Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Dave Mathews, Neil Young and other top performers celebrated Farm Aid’s 20th anniversary with a benefit concert at the Tweeter Center, located in the Chicago suburb of Tinley Park. In addition to the live webcast/broadcast on www.farmaid.org and XM Satellite Radio, the videotaped show will be broadcast starting Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, on INHD2, iN DEMAND's high definition network, and will be available to millions of cable subscribers via video-on-demand and pay-per-view.

SRO FOR THE JOHN MAYER TRIO AT HOUSE OF BLUES
It was “standing room only” when The John Mayer Trio picked a two-night stand at Chicago’s House of Blues as the venue for its first album together, a live disc produced by Aware/Columbia to be released on November 22nd. Trio Video’s HD mobile unit, Tango, provided the cameras and support for the soon to be released DVD. The performances, produced by Third Wave Productions, in association with Giant Productions and LDM Productions, were recorded live in the Windy City on September 21st and 22nd.

LAUGHING WITH JIM GAFFIGAN IN HIGH DEFINITION
On October 7th and 8th, Phoenix, another one of Trio Video’s high definition mobile units, provided all the angles as Music Link Productions’ Michael Drumm directed the cameras to cover the antics of comedian Jim Gaffigan. Gaffigan (as seen on NBC’s Conan O’Brien Show, CBS’s David Letterman Show, and Comedy Central) was in town to tape his show for a January 2006 Comedy Central special and upcoming DVD release. The sold-out performances were taped at Chicago’s historic Vic Theatre. Drumm's Music Link Productions is one of America's most prolific producers of high definition programs and DVD’s.

A MARATHON BROADCAST FOR CBS 2 CHICAGO
Continuing its long-standing association, Trio Video was proud to once again supply multiple mobile facilities as CBS 2 Chicago presented its annual exclusive live coverage of the 28th Annual LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 9th. Trio Video’s mobile units, X1 and T48, provided the equipment and engineering, that were part of a compliment of over 20 cameras, to originate both the broadcast and webcast of the world-renowned Chicago tradition. Representing 125 countries and all 50 states, 40,000 runners were cheered along the 26.2-mile course by an estimated 1.2 million spectators.

Thanks for taking the time to let us check in and keep you in "The Loop." If we can assist with any of your upcoming projects, we’re only a phone call or email away.
