TRIO VIDEO FAX CHECK – Spring/Summer 2006

Welcome back to Trio Video’s “Fax Check”… We’re catching our breath from an action-packed production schedule and wanted to give you the update: NCAA Basketball, NHL Hockey, NBA Playoffs, plus World Champion White Sox; add some tasty historic American jazz & blues along with the critically-acclaimed Bonnaroo Music Festival… all produced in High Definition.

BONNAROO - #1 MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE WORLD
Attendance was limited to 80,000 at Billboard’s #1-ranked 2006 Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee… but thanks to AT&T Blue Room (http://blueroom.att.com), the performances at the “top-grossing music festival in the world” were also fed live via the internet for over 12 hours a day from June 16th - 18th. Trio Video HD Mobile Unit Tango provided camera equipment, crew, and engineering support as Third Wave Productions produced the worldwide webcast for Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment. Concert headliners included Tom Petty, Phil Lesh & Friends, Elvis Costello, My Morning Jacket, Buddy Guy, Bonnie Raitt, Bright Eyes, and Ben Folds… among many others. Shooting exclusively in high-def at all five stages, Third Wave, Trio Video, Three on The Tree and Camera Support Inc. captured the historic performances for webcast use, as well as delivering content to XM, MTV, CBS Radio, Volkswagen, and CNN.

CINCINNATI POPS’ – HISTORIC AMERICAN MUSIC
It was a rousing three evenings of jazz and nostalgia as PBS and the Cincinnati Pops’ presented Take Me to the River: A Celebration of Music of America’s Rivers with performances by Preservation Hall Jazz Band, baritone Gregg Baker and blues singer Marcia Ball on May 12th - 14th. HD Mobile Unit Tango provided all the equipment and technical support for this PBS/Cincinnati Pops’ classic, the seventh nationally televised PBS special in 11 years. Scheduled to air this fall, the telecast was produced by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra in association with Brandenburg Productions, The Production Companies, and CET Cincinnati.

WHITE SOX AND CUBS – SUMMERTIME CLASSICS
Once again, Chicago baseball fans lived a dream when both Comcast SportsNet Chicago and WGN-TV broadcast the annual Cross Town Classic series between the Chicago Cubs and the World Champion Chicago White Sox from U.S. Cellular Field on May 19th - 21st and historic Wrigley Field on June 30th - July 2nd. Two of Trio Video’s state-of-the-art mobile units, Tango and Phoenix, provided all of the high definition broadcast equipment and engineering support, including over 16 high definition cameras. Announcers Len Kasper, Bob Brenly, Ken “Hawk” Harrelson, and Darrin Jackson covered the action for both WGN-TV and Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
