
O'BRIEN JOINS TRIO VIDEO AS DIR. OF
PRODUCTION AND MARKETING - 10/30/97
Keith O'Brien has joined Trio Video as director of production and marketing for the Chicago-based mobile TV production company.
At Trio Video, O'Brien will oversee the company's creative, production, project/client development and marketing areas. "Having Keith on the front line with our clients will make a significant contribution toward our continued growth in the sports, entertainment and corporate markets," says Jack Walsh, Trio Video partner.
Trio Video handles national sports telecasts for all the major over-the-air and cable networks, as well as for Chicago's professional baseball, basketball and hockey teams. The form also provides remote production services for a number of high-profile entertainment events and for Fortune 500 corporations.
O'Brien comes to Trio from Turner Sports, in Atlanta, where he had been director of remote operations since 1992. His unparalleled experience includes telecast work for the 1996 Olympic Games, the National Football League, National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball, the Professional Golf Association, NBC's SportsWorld, and a variety of other professional and amateur sports events.
O'Brien joined Turner Sports in 1990 as production manager for its coverage of the NBA and the 1990 Goodwill Games in Seattle. From 1987-89, he was production manager at NBC Sports, New York. Earlier, he worked for both NBC and HBO as a free-lance production assistant.
The Brooklyn native, who grew up in New York and Hawaii, traveled extensively after earning a degree in computer science from Erie College, Williamsville, N.Y. and Studying psychology at Syracuse University.
