TRIO VIDEO BUILDS 48-FOOT EXPANED TRUCK - 12/01/93

Trio Video is adding to its fleet, building another 48-foot mobile production truck that will go into service in early 1994. In late 1992, the company put its first 48-foot unit, T48, on the road.

The new unit, named T48X, will feature a 28-foot-long expandable section that will house a three-tiered production area and the tape room.

T48X will have a 69-monitor wall and will feature Sony chip cameras--six BVP375 CCD studio cameras and three BVP 90 CCD hand-held Cameras.

Grass Valley's newest switcher, the 3000 3-M/E, also will be part of the equipment package, The new unit will feature a Europa 40-input audio board, three Sony 3100 -inch tape machines and two Sony BVW-75 Beta machines.

T48X will join the Trio Video line-up in April 1994, said Jack Walsh, Trio Video partner. The new truck will be on display at the NAB Convention in Las Vegas, in late March, said Walsh.

Calumet Coach Co., Calumet City, Ill., builder of T48, is building T48X.
