TRIO VIDEO FAX CHECK – Fall 2009/Winter 2010

Welcome back to Trio Video's Fax Check. Along with our regular wide-ranging line up of local/national sporting events, we continued to be the "go to" truck vendor for just about every major North American music and comedy festival.

In addition, Trio again provided trucks and technical support to the award-winning Chicago Marathon production team, traveled the country for ESPN College Football and was proud to renew our multiyear production agreement with NFL on Fox. Here are just some of the details:

A Historic Moment in San Francisco
Trio was pleased to once again supply HD mobile units, Tango and Beta, plus required technical support to Outside Lands Fest in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, produced by Superfly Presents, Another Planet Entertainment, Star Hill Presents and ThirdWave Productions. The festival, headlined by Dave Mathews Band, Pearl Jam and Black Eyed Peas was the 1st live music festival webcast on YouTube.com. For more information, see SFoutsidelands.com.

An Award Winning Production Team
For over two decades, Trio Video has supplied HD/SD mobile units and tech support to cover one of North America's premier events - The Chicago Marathon. This year was no different as the Emmy Award winning production and on-air talent team of WMAQ/NBC 5 produced the telecast of NBC 5 Presents: The Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Congratulations to everyone at Chicago's WMAQ/NBC 5. You can check out ChicagoMarathon.com for more info.

Making the Connection for Lollapalooza and Austin Music Festivals
For the 4th and 3rd consecutive years respectively at Chicago's Lollapalooza Music Festival and Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, Trio Video's tech support crew supplied equipment and high-speed local-area HD networks that fed live music performances to more than 20 on-site locations, as well as nationwide distribution for IClips.com and Hulu.com. The festivals were headlined by Dave Mathews Band, Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon and the Killers. Special thanks go out to producers C3 Presents and Giant Pictures. A Decade of Music History
According to Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune; the 2002 relaunch of Coachella and Bonnaroo Music Festivals "was one of the top 10 key moments that shaped the decade in music and helped to rejuvenate the touring business". Trio is honored to be part of the production teams that created these unforgettable and historic events. Special thanks to AEG Goldenvoice/Springboard Productions and AC Entertainment/Superfly and ThirdWave Productions. See the whole story at ChicagoTribune.com

College Football - An American Tradition Continues
From Chapel Hill to Fort Worth and Kalamazoo to Miami, Trio's HD MU Rhythm and newly-launched support unit Blues teamed up with ESPN to cover a full slate of Men's NCAA Division I Football games, including title bouts between the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders and Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Trio was also on location as the University of Houston Cougars battled the Falcons of the Air Force Academy in the 7th annual Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl... and coming up, the East-West Shrine Game (the longest-running college all-star football game in the country) at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando.

NFL on FOX and Trio Video - A Renewal
The 2009/2010 season marks the renewal of our multiyear agreement with NFL on FOX. The staff and management at Trio Video are extremely pleased to continue our ongoing relationship with FOX Sports. Trio's Tango/Beta engineering staff are excited to again be part of this outstanding collaboration. For more information: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl

That’s it for now. Special thanks to all of our great clients. We appreciate you taking the time to let us check in and keep you in "The Loop."
